| Meet our instructor Krista was born and raised in the steamy Amazon jungles of Brazil. She loved horses ever since she could remember and with lots of hard work purchased her first horse at the age of 14 with her own money. Since then horses have always been a huge part of her life. She went to college in California to pursue a degree in equine science and then to another college here in Texas to study equine reproduction. Back in Brazil she was certified as a therapeutic riding instructor through their programs and opened the very first riding school in her hometown of Porto Velho. Circumstances brought her back to the USA and she became certified through Equest as a therapeutic riding instructor and has worked at different therapeutic riding centers since 2006. She has been teaching riding lessons since 2002 and has taught many kids, adults, teens and special needs people how to ride and enjoy horses! She currently enjoys 2 of her dream breed of horse, the Andalusian. |
